OIE JOBS

Objectives

OIE JOBS supports opportunities for all in acquiring and developing key competences, including basic skills: In order to foster employability, socio-educational and personal development, as well as participation in civic and social life. It caters for young NEETs who have lagged behind in mainstream education for personal, economic, social, psychological, physical, cultural or learning challenges and have therefore left school without those skills.
OIE JOBS has strong local community building.

 

Activities

OIE JOBS has three overarching objectives namely the:
1.TRANSFER OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE garnered during the development and testing of SIREN methodology by TRAMES to the other partners and a PARTNERSHIP WIDE CAPACITY BUILDING with a variety of target groups including NEETs in different contexts
2.AUGMENTATION OF AWARENESS OF THE SPECIAL LEARNING NEEDS OF ADULTS COMING OUT ILLITERATE FROM SCHOOL
3.GENERATE A BASE OF INFORMATION ON THE USE OF THE NATIVE LANGUAGE IN SITUATIONS OF INTERACTION

 

Impact

  1. NEW TOOLS IN THE HANDS OF THE PARTNERS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS THAT ENABLE NEETs TO ACQUIRE LITERACY SKILLS AND COMPETENCES FOR BETTER EMPLOYABILITY. PRODUCTS:
    – SIREN Social Inclusion Replicable Education Network – MOODLE WEB PLATFORM
    – Guide “needS” is an handbook that describes in detail the “deficit” awareness and the proposed recommendation for raising levels for achievement in basic skills literacy, numeracy and basic digital skills the needs of various groups.
