Objectives

• Promote agriculture and innovative solutions which are strategic for the sustainable growth, with special attention to rural development;
• Foster young people’s sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship by promoting the acquisition of relevant entrepreneurial skills and competences, to make the agricultural sector a real and attractive job opportunity for young Europeans;
• Promote better knowledge about EU fundings opportunity to start new businesses, with a focus on CAP.

Activities

• A1: Search for information and data about the current status of young people employment with a focus on the agricultural sector in Europe;
• A2: Creation of a community to share knowledge and expertise by best practise guide and online dissemination for the exchange and collection of information;
• A3: Implementation of three Webinars for the promotion of: the new frontiers of agriculture; entrepreneurial skills and business models for agricultural activities; EU funding opportunity.

Impact

• PR1: Recollection of data and information gathering about project topics by the partner organizations and agricultural industry businesses involved in the project.
• PR2: Best Practise Guide for an increase in young people’s agricultural entrepreneurship initiatives.
• PR3: Virtual Network, a dynamic agricultural business environment; more innovative and conscious generation of young European farmers and entrepreneur.
